インバウンド向けホームステイ型民泊(Airbnb)の御宿 照月(しょうげつ)の筆文字ロゴデザインを手掛けました。
背景の月が「千里を照らし美しく輝き映える」情景をイメージし、
2つの三日月が宿と人とを繋ぎ、宿泊された方との縁をデザイン。
筆文字は元の筆致を活かしながらも月の形にデフォルメし、シンボリックなロゴとして、
一目で印象に残るよう意図しました。

I designed the brush-script logo for Shōgetsu, an inbound homestay-style private lodging (Airbnb).
The background moon evokes a scene where “it illuminates a thousand miles, shining beautifully and reflecting its radiance.”
Two crescent moons connect the inn and its guests, symbolizing the bonds formed with those who stay.
The brush script retains its original brushstrokes while being stylized into the shape of the moon.
As a symbolic logo, it was designed to be instantly memorable.
